About Us

MARIS HANDMADE is a brand that aspires to provide livelihood, personal development, and spiritual formation to community based artisans

Inspired by our Catholic faith, we started with Mama Mary dolls in October of 2020 and branched out to make more loveable figures such as the Holy Family, St. Joseph, and Guardian Angels.

  

It is our hope that our dolls foster a devotion to our friends in heaven by bringing them into our homes and hearts. Each doll is a labor of love, handmade by sewers from Rizal Province, Philippines.

 

This year we started working with different communities for additional products such as the Mutya Filipina dolls, the Maris Christmas Parol, and the Maris Christmas Ornaments.

  

Stay-at-home mothers from Rizal province are able to earn additional income from their homes after caring for their children and performing their domestic duties. Kasambahays are also able to supplement their income by sewing and beading ornaments during their free time.

We believe that creativity begets opportunity for all, and that uplifting others is the true measure of success in any business.
