Our MUTYA dolls aspire to celebrate the beauty of Filipino fashion and culture by incorporating the use of upcycled local fabrics with distinctively Filipino design.
The MUTYA doll's dress is inspired by the Baro’t Saya, a traditional ensemble worn by women in the Philippines in the 18th and 19th centuries. The fabrics used for her dress are the Inabel woven fabric from Ilocos and Silk Cocoon used for traditional Barongs.

Each doll was handcrafted by a community of dressmakers from Rizal Province, Philippines.
